Attend & Amplify

The simplest way to support AFA is to show up and spread the word.
Come to our concerts. Bring someone who hasn't heard of us. Follow us on social media and share what you see. Tell a teacher, a parent, or a colleague whose child belongs here. Every post, every referral, and every seat filled at a performance extends our reach in ways that matter more than you might expect.
AFA grows when the people who believe in us make some noise.

Volunteer

In addition to our year-round youth ensemble programming, AFA's Summer Festival is a full week of masterclasses, rehearsals, coaching sessions, and performances — and it takes a team to run it well. We welcome volunteers who want to be part of the experience from the inside.

All roles are time-limited and event-specific. No prior music background is required — just reliability, warmth, and a genuine enthusiasm for what AFA does.

Volunteer roles at AFA include:

01. Concert Ushers

Greet audiences, manage seating, and help create a polished, welcoming concert experience at our Festival performances.

02. Student Coordinators

Support students during the festival day by helping guide transitions between rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances. This role puts you at the heart of the festival experience.

03. Fundraising & Event Support

Assist with AFA cultivation events and donor gatherings, helping ensure every event reflects the excellence of our programs.

04. Photography and Videography

Capture beautiful moments and music alike, helping document our work and becoming a historian of our community.

Champion

Some of the most valuable contributions to AFA don't happen on festival day — they happen in a conversation, an introduction, or a connection made at the right moment.

If you are someone with deep roots in Atlanta's arts, education, philanthropic, or business communities, we would love to know you. AFA is actively building relationships with individuals who can open doors — whether that means introducing us to a prospective donor, connecting us with a venue for a performance, or simply lending your name and network to an organization you believe in.
